The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Pretty much everything, such a cosy, beautiful place to hang out and enjoy the silence! We got free jams, bread, pasta etc. everything was there in the house! Amazing sunset views and such a nice host Rosa even though we didn’t speak Portuguese. Quite a beautiful but steep and narrow route to get to the house. 10/10, really recommend going if you plan on visiting the National park near by. It’s truly an adventure to get there and is a contrast to the city life.

Casa Lagar da Alagoa sits in the centre of the Natural Park with a good view of Zezere River. The house satisfies all the requirements of modern comfort while also retaining the rustic beauty of shale and granite, so typical of the Beira Alta region. Good location, historical property with many interesting artefacts preserved inside. Friendly and extremely helpful hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, would highly recommend to others visiting the area.
