Hermanus Backpackers & Budget Accommodation offers accommodation close to the centre in Hermanus. It has an outdoor pool, TV lounge and billiard table. We took a private room and it was big and clean. The hostel has a cool hangout area with a pool. The staff helped us book a shark cage diving and were really welcoming and helpful.

The staff’s attention to detail was outstanding. Well-appointed rooms, amazing outlook, brilliant theming & truly delicious food. An exceptional South African stay.

The service is exceptional! nothing was too much trouble and the team went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The front desk arranged dinner bookings for us. Breakfast is included the luxury of an a la carte menu, the coffee, pasties and cooked breakfast prepared and served professionally. The spa treatment (couples massage) is out of this world - again one of the best we’ve experienced. Overall this was the best place we’ve stayed in, in Hermanus.

We entered a brand new complex, modern, well designed. Kind receptionist helped quickly with the luggage to the room. We booked a family suite with pool entrance. An amazing unit for families and friends. A straight 1 min walk to the front lookout to the ocean. A great location in the center of everything. Very safe strolling around, also at night time.
