Situated in Bloubergstrand, Gull on the Bay Boutique Guest House boasts panoramic views of Table Mountain, Robben Island and Table Bay. The guest house features a gym, sauna, steam room and outdoor infinity pool. Brian, the owner was always in attendance when we came down for breakfast. He greeted us warmly with a big smile and asked what our preference was for breakfast, and he prepared the food himself, exactly to our liking. Fresh and fantastic. My wife, being a vegetarian, was catered for as well. Brian went the extra mile and also prepared a cooked dinner for both of us. The menu was butter chicken, Rice and Sambles. My wifes dish was braised butternut in a coconut & tomato spicy sauce. The meal was paired with an excellent bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Brian and his wife joined us for dinner. Again excellent cook by Brian himself. Evening finished with ice cream and coffee. Added bonus is that you do not need transport as Brian has a chauffeur service provided at a fee. Accommodation clean, safe and very comfortable. I had a choice of the REEF or BEACH suites and chose the REEF suite as it had a sunny skylight directly above the bed. Would highly recommend this establishment without any hesitation to discerning persons either for a business or pleasure.

The Sir David Boutique Guest House is situated within 26 km of Table Mountain and Cape Town’s city centre. Cape Town International Airport is 30 km away. We visited Cape Τown for Xmas and New Year and this was the exact perfect place we were looking for; a boutique establishment next to the sea with very friendly and accommodating host and staff that made us feel very welcomed, even during the time we organized our trip. Every corner in the shared facilities and the room is taken care of with great taste, peaceful and cozy with a positive vibe, and spotless clean! Our triplex room had direct access to the garden with the pool, that our seven year old son with his cousin loved and, ourselves relaxed on the sunbeds. The pool size is ideal for the young ones, still not for a traveler who is looking to enjoy it over the cold sea waters. Breakfast is of great variety for all tastes with warm dishes, and the staff taking good care of us. Overall, a stay that exceeded our expectations!
