This place is located just outside the busiest part of the town, so it's very quiet, but still a few minutes walk from everything. The room and its bathroom were clean, the bed was comfy and the WiFi worked well. If requested, the hostess can prepare a simple breakfast, for an additional fee. As other reviewers noted, the hostess' English is very limited, but with the help of Google Translate and body language you can easily overcome the language barrier; she's very nice and helpful.

Nice small, comfortable, clean guesthouse in the center of Lumbini near one of the entry gates to the Maya Devi temple. What made my stay special however was the wonderful hospitality extended to guests by the family who owns and operates the property. My stay fell during Diwali and I along with the other guests was invited to join the family during their ritual, partake in the traditional food and got a deep appreciation for Nepali culture and hospitality, for which I am deeply grateful.

The family is super helpful and warm. The son is really nice. We eat inside the hotel and we love the food so far, especially the curry. The tip is you need to order early so they can prepare. It is walking distance to all the temples in Lumpini. I do travel and work so it is quite comfortable working on my room with window open. Highly recommended.

The Lumbini Guest House was under construction, so the owner moved our booking to “The Lumbini” Hotel & Restaurant, which was excellent. Not far from the original booking, and walkable to the Mayadevi Temple and park.
