The host, Manfred, is a delight! He lives on-site so there is no problem in checking-in. He's a fount of knowledge and advice. The small room had everything required - fully-equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, TV+apps, good Wi-Fi. The washing machine was a bonus. Small semi-private area outside appt to relax with a beer and a book. Tip: Press the buzzer button named "Manfred + ..." at the entrance. Tip: Go to Friesach - fabulous little side trip for FREE on the SBahn to a walled village. Tip: A SPAR is just behind the Lidl.

Beautiful nature in the surroundings, secured parking, spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, even with the most essential food and hygiene necessities. Bathroom too. We also had sweets, snacks, and a welcome drink. We had 2 TVs, good heating, a nice view from the loggia, and new furniture in the apartment. All praise and warm recommendations! We will be back again!

The building where the apartment is is located close to the lake (ca. 100 meters) and castle Landskron (ca. 1.5 km). If you have a bike, in one day, you can visit the castle (an MTB bike is welcome) and make the 28 km circle around the lake (Ossiacher See Cycling Tour - R2 and R2A). The apartment is renovated, comfy, and cozy - you can find all the kitchenware you need if you plan to do your own cooking. Besides, the owner left for visitors free coffee pads (there's also the coffee machine) and tea bags. Really nice welcoming gesture :) Also getting in contact with the owner who handled the keys was fast and simple. Plus, you get to park for free in the building garage - or outside the building if you prefer. If I summarize, it was a great experience.
