The owner is friendly and quick in responding, there is the option to book tours, and Albert, the caretaker of the house, is very friendly and helpful. Hummingbird Rest a fully equipped cabana in subtropic garden, a property with a garden, is set in San Ignacio, 15 km from El Pilar, 26 km from Barton Creek Cave, as well as 28 km from Actun Tunichil... We had a wonderful time at Hummingbird Rest. The cabana is spacious and so well equipped. The shower was super hot, the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, the outdoor area was so lush and gorgeous. We loved laying out in the hammock and watching the hummingbirds fly past.
