This is an absolutely lovely place to stay, from the second we arrived the staff were so nice and helpful, they connected with us on WeChat and sent us all the information we needed to go to the wall, they offer a taxi service to the wall location close by and can book you a taxi to a further location. They recommended meals for us to try and sat with us to take us through the menu, I can't say enough great things about them they made it so special, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. They are located in a beautiful area. Highly, highly recommend

Set in Beijing, 5.7 km from Temple of Heaven and 7.6 km from Qianmen Street, Zhe·Yi Boutique Guesthouse offers a shared lounge and air conditioning. Jenny and Juan were excellent hosts and very accommodating. Any information we needed, or help with apps, they were always there to lend a helping hand. They even hosted us for dinner one night! The bed was super comfortable as well. There are also a number of good places to eat nearby.

The breakfast was great. Our host, Ellie, was really accommodating and baked fresh bread, macaroons, and croissants for us. Your stay includes a roundtrip car ride and tickets to Gubei Watertown (just 5 minutes drive away). She also arranged for a driver to take us to Panlongshan for a small fee, which is a wild section of the Great Wall about 15 minutes away. I would definitely recommend the hotpot dinner, at the guesthouse, too. I appreciated the small details, like the bathbomb that was provided with the bathtub, too!

We had a lovely stay with Lilly and Young. Amazing hosts very helpful and food is delicious. Best stay we have had in China and the highlight of our trip. We will be back!

Situated within 26 km of Great Wall of China - Huanghuacheng and 43 km of Ming Tombs, Yue Tong Farmer House features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Huairou. We loved our stay at Yue Tong Farm House. The couple was so kind and helpful and made our layover in Beijing worthwhile. They picked us up at the airport, made us a delicious dinner, the room was big and clean (mattress is a bit hard though), cooked us another delicious breakfast in the morning and took us to the great wall afterwards. In the end picked us up again and drove us to the airport. Everything went flawless. Although neither speak English, the translator does the job and the smiles do the rest.

This is a well run Hutong Hotel, located in a small village adjacent to the Great Wall. David is a super host, the room was totally clean and the courtyard is a very nice place to hang out.
