Breakfast was a wide spread treat. Near Nanjing Convention Center. Nice restaurants around. Nice beds and pillow with spacious room. Would recommend staying here.

Offering a garden and garden view, Refactoring space-YangZhou is situated in Yangzhou, 3.5 km from Slender West Lake and 23 km from Hailanggu Water Park. We noticed the place was rated “the most elegant courtyard” in town upon arrival, and it surely felt that way. It was designed in the style of traditional Chinese courtyard, with beautiful, living plants tastefully positioned throughout the property and in rooms - the hostess is also a floral artist. Everywhere you turn, it is a picture-perfect scene directly cut from a book or a movie. There are tea sets on table and newly harvested tea. A fruit plate was filled with the day’s fresh choices. Books are real, good books, not those only put there for decoration. The hotel staff was also very helpful. Seeing that we sometimes left our door ajar, she thoughtfully ignited mosquito-repellent herds around the vicinity. It is a place one might feel like living in a dream, surrounded by the ambiance of thousands of years of traditional Chinese culture. The moment you entered the hotel and closed the door behind you, you leave the hustling, bustling world outside, and entered one serene, zen and beautiful.

The swimming pool was very big. The kids inside playground is good for small kids. The terrace is nice. They have a rabbit and birds on the terrace. There is also an area to practice golf.

It was easy to communicate with the owners before arriving at the hotel (both in Chinese and English). The owner was very friendly. Picked us up at the village parking lot and (after checking out) drove us to a trail head (10 minutes drive). This location is a great starting point for one or more days of hiking. The hotel was very clear, which is very uncommon in China. Chinese breakfast was delicious. Hotel is very quiet.

Citadines Suzhou Xinghai is located within the Suzhou Industrial Park and just minutes from Jinji Lake. The hotel offers a fitness centre and comfortable apartments with full kitchen facilities. A very attentive staff, especially the lady manager who went above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. Our room was very clean with a large, comfortable bed, controllable heat/air conditioner, and daily housekeeping. Shower is powerful and hot, and the toilet had a warm bidet. The breakfast buffet has good selection both Western and Chinese, cereal and fruit, porridge and rice, and with any order type of eggs on demand. They tried to vary the menu on a daily and weekly basis. There is a beautiful park along the canal next door, which we had a spectacular view of from our 20th floor windows, and with the twin needle towers (188) and the "trouser pants" towers of Suzhou Centre in the background. The elevators are extremely efficient. 24 hour attendants at the desk.
