We had such a lovely and laidback time. If you want the full desert experience with nothing but nature around you, you are at the right place. José was a really friendly, funny and generous host. The place is beautiful, the cabaña was comfortable and clean, the food delicious and we couldn't have wished for anything more. My recommendation would be: stay more than one night ;) it's worth it ¡Muchisimas gracias!

The owner is so friendly and nice and she was a HUGE help for me! She organized a private tour/driver to the desert for me, Augusto was great! She also organized a private person who was willing to drive me to Neiva after 10pm because I took a nightbus to Cali and the last bus from the village leaves around 6pm. She made me a delicous breakfast and the bed was the most comfortable one I slept in since weeks! Don‘t miss out in this great host and hostel :)))) Muchas Gracias para todo!

The owners of the hostal are very kind and friendly. They prepared breakfast for us at 5:30 o'clock just because we wanted to leave at 6:00 in the desert. It was very clean in the rooms and in the bathrooms.

Located just a 10 minutes walk outside of Villavieja, this beautiful cabin works great as a starting point for exploring the area. It has a great bed, amazing bathroom, a kitchen, a TV, air conditioning, and a laundry machine. There is a good, local restaurant almost next door where you can eat, or you can go into town.

Pachingo Tatacoa Desert está en La Victoria y dispone de vistas a la montaña y jardín. Algunas unidades tienen terraza y/o balcón. El aeropuerto (Aeropuerto Benito Salas) está a 47 km. I loved the cottage, and the whole feel of it. It felt like we were secluded, so that was really nice.

Tubo Hotel La Tatacoa se encuentra en Villavieja y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín con piscina al aire libre. El camping ofrece terraza. San José Tatacoa está en Villavieja y cuenta con vistas al jardín, jardín y bar. En el agroturismo se puede disfrutar de un desayuno americano. La cordialidad, amabilidad y buena predisposición de todas las personas que trabajan en la finca. Verdaderamente se nota que se esfuerzan mucho porque uno tenga una linda estadía. Son todos muy amables y el lugar esta muy bien para disfrutar el dia. El aire acondicionado funcionaba perfecto.

El Dunas Tatacoa se encuentra en Villavieja y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al jardín y piscina portátil al aire libre. Neiva queda a 34 km. Hay aparcamiento privado gratuito. Our stay was absolutely amazing (special thanks to Hilda and the entire staff for being simply amazing). We booked a 3 people tent which not only had a fan but an air conditioner as well. The property was clean with bathrooms situated in various convenient locations. The property also has a nice pool (where we spent our afternoons and evenings). The property is situated 10 min walking from the town of Villavieja (good location). The staff was simply amazing: accommodating, hard-working, always smiling and always made us feel welcomed and at home. We will keep them in our hearts 🤍
