Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed, you're on a volcano after all. They guided us to the top of the volcano and back, accompanied us around the area and drove us back to Sao Felipe on a sunday, when no collectivos are running. A magic place, super energetic and positive hosts, great cooks and helpful hosts.

You can really tell the place is loved. The food was wonderful and genorous and the cocktail was delicious. Wifi worked well in my room and everything was clean and well organized. They helped arrange a collectivo to the caldiera and made me feel very welcomed as a solo traveler. It's very close to the airport and you can walk there in 7 mins.There is a sign on the left as you leave the parking area about 100 m. The road is basic so keep an eye out for the sign so you don't miss it.

The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

She is an incredible cook and an amazing woman who made this journey very special for us. The dinner was massive and extremely delicious, her chicken in tomato sauce and the vegetarian cabbage dish left us speechless. Yulia appears to be a respected member of Mosteiros society and people spoke very well of her, her neighbours gave us fruit for free and were happy to chat with us. If you speak Spanish and you are patient enough, Mosteiros and Yulia can offer you an unforgettable experience.

Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.
