There's no better place to stay in Santo Antão. Very beautiful house close to all the restaurants in Paul and many amazing hikes nearby. The owner lives in the same house with his family and you get to sit with them for breakfast which is cooked freshly every day (pancakes with papaya jam, fresh banana and papaya juice, local goat cheese, omelette,..). I cannot recommend staying here enough - we wanted to stay for one night only but ended up staying three. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. If we ever come back to the island, Luz d'Sol is where we will go!

We stayed in the seaside view studio and the view was really fantastic, plus we could see the sunset straight from our sofa ! The studio overall was very comfortable, with all necessary amenities, very clean. Really kind staff, Guillaume (the owner) was also there and shared with us a lot of great hike suggestions! Breakfast was simple, but more than enough for us, very very tasty and home made.

The owner extremely friendly and helpful an upon request serves a delicious breakfast for very little money. Useful advise for your trip around is given by the owner if you wish and at least for me the advice turned out very well. Certainly value for money and a place to recommend.

Casa Das Ilhas is located in Paul. All rooms includes a private bathroom fitted with a shower. You can enjoy mountain view from the rooms. At Casa Das Ilhas you will find a garden and a terrace. The views are spectacular. The Casa is located near many hiking trails and the host knows these walks well. She is very helpful in planning and organizing your activities. The communal dinner (not mandatory) is a nice opportunity to share experiences with other guests.

Offering a restaurant, Casa Cavoquinho is located in Paul Valley, in Cabo de Ribeira. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with a balcony and a terrace. The stay at Casa Cavoquinho was simply magical. The people who work there, the unbelievably good food, the location in the magical Paul Valley, the view from the room ... difficult to put it into words and as soon as you leave the valley you remember it like a beautiful dream. Jose, the owner, is an extraordinary person, we wish him all the best for the future.
