Set 30 minutes from Lanquín, 45 minutes from Semuc Champey, Mountain Nest provides an accommodation in a remote mountain setting outside of Lanquin. A very special place. A wooden hut located in the heart of a forest, surrounded by trees and plants and with stunning views. Darina & Remy are a special couple of people, exemplary hosts and excellent cooks It is advisable to order their vegetarian dinner and buy from the chocolate they make themselves. You need to know that getting there is difficult. Mandatory 4*4 vehicle and the last 200 meters is a walk on a narrow path - you should pack only the equipment you need for the stay in advance. Most recommended experience, we loved the place.

Situated in Chijoú, Paraiso Verde offers accommodation with seating area. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Beautiful place with amazing views, literally surrounded by nature. Otto is fantastic and very helpful host. Place worth to visit!

Set in Cobán in the Alta Verapaz region, AZURA HOTEL BOUTIQUE has a garden. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The staff were all helpful and nice. The dorm is just a set of bunk beds so I had a private room for the night. Warm shower. The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel/hostel ever. There is a kitchen guests can use but they charge Q20 to use it. They helped me with the bus to Lanquín and transport from Lanquín to Antigua, but it would have been Q25 cheaper to book the transport to Antigua in Lanquín. And if you book a shuttle in Lanquín they pick you up and you don't have to go to the bus stop yourself.

The rooms are clean with hot shower in bathroom and a reliable WiFi signal. Centrally located with many shops and restaurants around.

Located just 15 km from Blue Hole, Hotel Rabin Itzam offers accommodation in Lanquín with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. Clean and comfortable, plenty of communal space, WiFi was ok, beautiful garden, fresh towel, price was reasonable. Free pick up and drop off at the gas station where the shuttle buses arrive and depart. Complimentary bottled water at check in and apple at check out. The owners were accommodating and attentive, they gave me earplugs for the night. I booked the shuttle bus with them to Flores for Q200. Highly recommended!

The staff is amazing, the food is soo good and it is one of the most incredible location!! Plus, it is cheap for what they have to give:) Semuc champey is right next to the hotel!
