The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. The room was so cozy and comfy! I live in Iceland and will definitely be returning and now I recommend this to every travel I made itineraries for :) Also we saw amazing northern lights!

Very comfortable apartment that was perfect for us travelling with adult children. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

Skútustadir Guesthouse este amenajată într-o fermă de pe malul sudic al lacului Mývatn și oferă o bucătărie/lounge comun și vedere la munte. Există acces gratuit la internet WiFi și parcare gratuită. We absolutely loved staying here. The guesthouse is lovely, the kitchen is huge and room was basic but still felt very cosy. We saw the northern lights perfectly, what a great location! There was also 2 farm dogs running around, who were so friendly and cute! The free breakfast in the morning was amazing as well. This is probably our favourite guest stay in Iceland! Highly recommend!
