The room in the Lodge was clean and comfortable, air conditioning great, but what I loved about the place was the friendliness and helpfulness of Mama and Papa. I have never stayed in a place where I felt so welcome. Papa helped me fix my phone and Mama took me to the airport, for no charge. I also really liked the communal area where you can talk to others if you wish (I was travelling on my own) and the fact I could refill my water bottle without having to buy more plastic. They are making efforts to be more sustainable. A very special place and if I return to Langkawi I would absolutely stay here again.

Breakfast is great too, homemade, served on your balcony. I had traditional and normal breakfast as well. It’s ca.15-20min walking distance from the main road with shops and restaurants and Beach. Around the place there are also some small shops and restaurants.
