Friendly, family orientated atmosphere. I loved the Guesthouse type vibes. Super chilled out. Plenty of hammocks and places to eat/chill/whatever. Phenomenal value for money. Had everything you needed re: amenities. Kitchen was great. Carmilo the owner was available on weekends and cooked us crepes for breakfast with a cup of coffee and a dart. He had great local knowledge and was always happy to help out. .

Hotel Al Sole se află în León și include biciclete gratuite, o grădină, un lounge comun și un bar. Al Sole felt like a home away from home. Everyone at Al Sole were very friendly and extremely helpful. In the mornings breakfast was served outdoors where everyone gathered in the garden to enjoy the delicious food. The location was in a quiet area where I felt safe. The area is very walkable, or you can use the bike to get around which is provided by Al Sole.

The house is huge, the neighborhood is very nice, kids out and playing until late, and it is a 20 minute walk to the main square of Leon. (There's also a c$6 bus that stops outside the front door, and taxis are about c$50). You get a look into parts of the town that are not the center. Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the Wi-Fi clocked in at 50Mbps so easily fast enough for Zoom calls and the like. If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a secured lot around the corner (in front of the basketball court) that charges c$30/day. The on-site garage will handle regular vehicles.

The Wabi Sabi se află în León și include o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun și un bar. Big comfortable bed. Aircon worked great. Large and fully equipped kitchen. Very clean. The pool was ideal to cool off in. Good location. We arrived too early at around 11am and were able to hang around and use the pool etc until check in time.

Camping Ojo de Agua se află la 1,8 km de Plaja El Transito și oferă o grădină, o terasă și o bucătărie comună. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, quiet and peaceful community feeling. Intact mosquito nets for each guest were a big plus. Great stay overall!

Really nice accommodation, felt more like an air B&B. Location was great right on the beach. Had to walk up the beach a bit for easier waves but waves right outside the door for more advanced surfers. The vibe was amazing , everyone , guest , staff, volunteers all so welcoming and warm! Casa Todo Bueno se află în El Tránsito și pune la dispoziție vedere la piscină, o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și facilități de grătar. Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.

The room was so clean and they gave us fresh towels and clean bedding each night (we stayed for 2 nights). The shared bathroom felt more like a private one and was only shared with one other room. The location was great with a short walk to the center and lots of restaurants close by. The owners were wonderful and welcoming. We had to leave at 2am for our shuttle and they kept the door open so we could leave easily.
