The location was amazing. It’s only 2 hours away from Muscat. I would recommend rent a car to the meeting point Ibrahim or his brother will meet you at a location 15 mins away you CAN NOT access with out proper off roading vehicle. It was i thin 5-10 Oman dollar. The high way from muscat to Bidday was extremely easy to drove to.

To stay in a Desert Camp sleeping under the stars is a completely outstanding experience. Driving over the dunes, riding camels, sharing the local food with the family that accommodated us felt special indeed. The location of the camp is hidden, aqay from other camps or other people, so one can enjoy complete silence, darkness and inclusion with the nature. Provided breakfast and dinner had a traditional tone which we appreciated highly. Recommended!

Great location, sand dunes all around you, camels walking around free, wonderful tents, amazing dinner and breakfast, and the best host I have ever met in my life, and I have been to many places. Terletak 2.2km dari Pantai Al Hadd, Ras Al Hadd Orchid menawarkan taman, lounge berkongsi dan penginapan yang berhawa-dingin dengan patio dan WiFi percuma. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and wonderful food. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Ekhtir also organised a fantastic speed boat trip to see a huge pod of dolphins and to snorkel with amazing colourful fish. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

We stay 2 nights in the Ahmed desert camp and we really enjoyed it. Before our arrival he sent to us a lot of offered activities, so we choose - dune bashing (amazing), camel ride (great) and one day trip to desert with lunch (amazing). Ahmed is is a perfect host, which takes a full care about his guest. Meals (breakfasts, lunch and dinners) prepared by his chef were very delicious. In the evening we had a camp fire, with stars quiz and experience :-). I can fully recommend this desert camp if you want a memorable and traditional Omani experience.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. We had a wonderful stay at the camp, we were lucky to be the only ones. We did the dune bashing tour, which was so much fun. The food was really good, we asked for vegetarian food and got amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stayed 2 nights, which was amazing to relax and enjoy the vastness of the desert.
