Situated in Bidiyah, Moon Light Camp features accommodation with seating area. The campground has family rooms. All units have a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. The location was amazing. It’s only 2 hours away from Muscat. I would recommend rent a car to the meeting point Ibrahim or his brother will meet you at a location 15 mins away you CAN NOT access with out proper off roading vehicle. It was i thin 5-10 Oman dollar. The high way from muscat to Bidday was extremely easy to drove to.

I spent alot of time researching the desert camp options and chose Rashid's because it ticked all the boxes for us...small camp - only 4 tents for a more intimate experience, reasonable prices for everything, elevated tents so not on the ground with creepy crawlers, private bath inside, comfy beds, good food, good reviews of the owner host for a welcoming and enlightening experience. The stay exceeded all of my, already high, expectations. also, some camps are just barely in the desert and some are many miles in, this was a lovely distance in. Rashid made us feel like honored guests and family. He wants his guests to feel at home and was open to all questions about his homeland and culture. He taught us so much and also loved to hear and learn about our homeland and lives. The food was incredible as well. We went dune bashing to collect some of the plastic I was so sad to see in the desert by my request. He took us to see camels and there were new babies. Whoever you choose to stay with please honor the desert and collect your garbage. But don't miss the opportunity to stay with rashid! We arrived as strangers and left as honored friends!

The owner is incredibely courteous and funny. Food delicious, additional entertainments above my expectations. There is pick up from the nearest village available so you don't need to have 4W car. 11/10 I deeply recommend this place!

Great stay, beautiful view, welcome atmosphere with lovely snacks and coffee on hand. A wonderful, safe experience for myself and my daughter.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. The camp is great. There are only two tents and you can rent the whole thing for yourself. We really got the experience of being out in the desert alone. The facilities are excellent with a good bathroom and shower and nice bed (no A/C). The tents are in the traditional style as is the dining tent. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth waking up for sunset.

Situated in Shāhiq, Alsarmadi Desert Camp features accommodation with seating area. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. An amazing experience in this camp owned by Sayid and his family. We had a wonderful welcome, kids enjoyed different activities as camel ride and sledding on the dunes. The camp is located high on the dunes, view and sunset are amazing. The tents have really comfortable beds. I would recommend this camp if you are looking for an authentic Omani desert experience. It was really hard to say goodbye.
