Residencial Coya provides accommodation in David. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The owners/hosts are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. On our first visit, we arrived late at night (~22:00) and they still greeted us warmly, offered us a snack (cheese sandwich with a glass of milk), and took time to chat with us. We had to leave early the next morning (~5:30), but even at that hour they got up especially to offer us a delicious cup of coffee. We had some questions about facilities in David for our second visit, and they especially looked up information and made phone calls for us, and stayed in contact with us before our second visit. We had a little more time during our second visit. Because we weren't leaving so early, we got a proper little breakfast, with coffee, freshly-pressed orange juice, and a cheese sandwich. It was also a great opportunity to chat with other travelers and with our hosts. Overall, we really enjoyed our two stays at Residencial Coya and would definitely stay there again the next time we're in David.

Boasting accommodation with a terrace, Magic Mountain Lodge is located in Las Lajas. Guests have a private patio. The apartment features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a shower. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how wonderful our stay at Magic Mountain Lodge was. It was beyond our expectiations from the greeting by Uta to the delightful grounds and our amazing room. How could any visitor give a score other than 10 for excellence! If you are travelling in Panama you would do well to arrange your trip around staying at Magic Mountain Lodge. My wife and I as well as our two large dogs will certainly return. OH, and the breakfast is worth the stay alone. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend staying here.

Bright studio with a comfortable bed, small kitchen with everything you need, fast internet and very clean. Manuel was a great host and helped us organize our Volcán Barú hike. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and view on the mountain, the owner was well responsive to our messages and help us when needed. We were able to cook at the apartment and eating on the patio!

Francesca was a great host. If you‘re staying in this cute air- conditioned b&b (AC is not very common in Panama) right next to a stunning endless beach, make sure you try one of the delicous home-made meals. We had a tuna steak and it tasted divine.

Herman was a wonderful host. He carried out luggage to the room and gave us the full tour of the facilities and ideas on places to see for our first visit to Boquete. It is a warm and welcoming place with lovely gardens and sitting areas and clean as a pin. Fabulous place that truly checked all the boxes for us. I had the best sleep in months. Booked in at another accommodation the following night and was terribly disappointed.

The food was incredible. You can tell Chantal puts a lot of love into meals. Very high quality. She is also super friendly and welcoming. Our cabin was very cute and cozy. 10/10!
