Everything! The pool was wonderful, our tent was specious and welcoming. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook dinner. The view is beautiful everywhere you go there more to see, relax and enjoy.

Nelo is an awesome host. He provided me with information on where to eat and where to buy groceries. He even offered to pick me up at the bus stop so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain. The accommodations are very clean, secure, and right on the PR1 trail that leads to the Castillo and the other trails to the schist villages.

We had a wonderful stay at SERRA with our family of 5. The design of the hotel is wonderful and very authentic but manages to combine modern touches. The pool is heated and has views of the mountains making it very relaxing. The property is clean and has great facilities within the apartment. Jessica and the team do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and providing all the information you need - very hospitable. The highlight for my kids was the pond with turtles and fish - a great touch! This is a great spot to explore Serra da Estrela and I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone and hope to return one day for another stay! Thank you to the SERRA team!

Situated within 39 km of Geopark Naturtejo and 50 km of Monsanto Castle, CASA 3 - OS LUGARES DE CASTRALEUCA features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Castelo Branco. We liked everything. Arrival was very slick, no check-in just enter the codes provided and enter the apartment. The entrance area and lift were scrupulously clean, tidy and well lit. Our apartment was on the third floor and was an attic conversion. It was very well designed and had absolutely everything you could need. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast the following morning and this was restocked throughout our stay. Fresh bread was left every morning in a bag outside our door. Full marks for a wonderful experience.

Situated in Piódão, Love, made in xisto features accommodation with a pool with a view, a balcony and garden views. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of... Fantastic place in the mountains. Located in a schist village in some ways more charming than Piódão. Cozy place with a simple but more than ample breakfast. And all the firewood you could want for the fabulous fireplace. Thanks so much!

We really enjoyed the room commodities, the taste of the decoration, the hospitality of the hosts, not to mention that the dinner made by the host and the breakfast were both exceptional. Both hosts are amazing, very kind and helpful, we will definitely come back!
