Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located in Sítio da Felpa, S. Jorge, Madeira Island. It offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lush vegetation about 50 km from Funchal. Extraordinary place. Teresa is a real host. She made our stay so pleasant. We felt at home. Tasty breakfast, clean room, and very silent neighborhood. Thank you!!!

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Fantastic premises, great location, lovely staff and the breakfast is just amazing

Great apartment with everything you need. It has a huge balcony with remarkable views. Infinity pool is amazing! It’s a little too far from the center but you are getting amazing panoramic views.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.

The location is perfect to travel around Madeira with a car (I liked the north and the west much more than the east and Funchal's surroundings). Going western of Ponta do Sol, the traffic is very light compared to Ponta do Sol and towards Funchal. In general, no issue with parking. The pool is great to cool off after a day spent hiking. The room was spacious, really enjoyed how much space I had, had some breakfasts in the balcony when it wasn't too cold. In general the room was really clean.

In the apartment you can find everything you need and there is a lot of space. The host is very friendly and helped me with everything I wanted to know and needed. I totally recommend it with all my heart. There is no private parking but you can let the car on the streets (there are some rules, here I asked the host and I received all the information I needed) or there is a parking place close to the apartment (4.5 euro per day).
