Offering a garden and pool view, SERRA is located in Cortes do Meio, 33 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela and 34 km from Belmonte Calvário Chapel. We had a wonderful stay at SERRA with our family of 5. The design of the hotel is wonderful and very authentic but manages to combine modern touches. The pool is heated and has views of the mountains making it very relaxing. The property is clean and has great facilities within the apartment. Jessica and the team do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and providing all the information you need - very hospitable. The highlight for my kids was the pond with turtles and fish - a great touch! This is a great spot to explore Serra da Estrela and I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone and hope to return one day for another stay! Thank you to the SERRA team!

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Casa dos Andrades is a recently renovated guest house located in Belmonte, 37 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. Cute little guest house close to the historic centre and with everything you need for a couple nights (or more) stay. Room and bathroom were spotless clean, comfy mattresses, a shared equipped kitchen and common room. Thanks to an oven in the living room and AC in the bedroom it was even during cold winter days and nights pleasently warm. And thank you to Marcela - the extremely welcoming and friendly owner!

Located in Guarda, 800 metres from Guarda Castle and 600 metres from Guarda Cathedral, zélu apartamento centro da Guarda provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Everything was first class. The location was within walking distance to the town square. The host kindly left a welcome bottle of wine.

Featuring free bikes, garden and views of garden, Be Alva is set in Oliveira do Hospital, 48 km from Manteigas Hot Springs. Wonderful place by the river. The owner was super nice, we could go kayaking on the river and the generous breakfast was brought at our door in a basket. Highly reccomend staying here in the peace and quiet

Fantastic place in the mountains. Located in a schist village in some ways more charming than Piódão. Cozy place with a simple but more than ample breakfast. And all the firewood you could want for the fabulous fireplace. Thanks so much!
