Mar and her husband Abdou are great hosts who really make you feel welcome from the heart! We stayed for a whole week with them and felt like being at home :) They provide you with all the info you need and organize a smooth transport from Dakar to their place for the guests (if needed) at a fair price. Mar Lodj is a great chance to experience real Senegalese country side life and the Sahel. It is an island in the river delta and the four villages on the island are well worth visiting. Many excursions and activities are possible and all can be organized by Mar and her family and nice bathing spots on the river-delta (good for swimming in clean water!) can be reached in only a few minutes. The accomodation provides full board if you like and always has cool drinks at hand which is great in the often hot climate in the afternoon. Nguel du Saloum is built with in traditional courtyard style with has a cozy feeling - so lying in one of the hammocks or on a sofa in the open air living room in the shade is just great any time! Solar panels insure constant power supply and we highly respect the effort Mar and Abdou went/go through in order to supply such a nice accomodation in a place where supply of goods and infrastructure can be really limited at times! (transport on the island is by horse-carriage (great!) as there are no roads (wonderful, no car horns, no traffic fumes and jams!) - just to give you an idea ) Thanks again for everything, Mar and Abdou and we hope that many more people find their way to your wonderful place! It is really worth visiting and we truly hope to come back again to see you again at Nguel du Saloum in the future (with "el musculator" of course :)!

Situé à Toubakouta, le Bed and breakfast Keur Niaye dispose d'un restaurant et d'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Le lodge et les environs étaient super, les activités proposées l'étaient tout autant. Grâce à Doudou et au reste de l'équipe, notre voyage à Toubakouta à été extrêmement agréable. Doudou à été un hôte exceptionnel et nous a fait nous sentir comme à la maison. Son expérience et professionalisme on rendu nos activités et notre séjour encore mieux que ce que l'on attendait. On y retournera avec plaisir

Offrant une vue sur la piscine, le B & B Mariamacounda propose un hébergement avec une piscine avec vue, un jardin et un bar, à environ 23 km de la réserve naturelle de Fathala. We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

It was an amazing stay. The breakfast was amazing. Everyone was so kind. We arrived late and they were waiting for us. I highly recommend staying here!!

Située à Palmarin, la maison d'hôtes la villa sur la plage propose une piscine extérieure ouverte en saison, un jardin, un bar, un salon commun, une réception ouverte 24h/24 et un restaurant. "An oasis of serenity" The view of the Atlantic Ocean at sunset. The sound of the waves splashing on the sandy beach as you sleep into the night. The peaceful sound of nature that whispers into your ears in the morning reassuring your mind and soul of a brand new day full of life, hope and peace. The pelican filled island of Sanghomar and the mangroves of Javier. The nice ice cold drinking water at one of the stores in this village, not to mention the two 'made to be' cold codys beer I never expected but had in the island. The warm reception at a rest hole by an artistic local soul. The dive in the Atlantic from this island. A 13,000 cfa per kg of fresh sea lobsters for dinner. Plus a 1000 cfa large squid, it was the best deal.

La Petite maison en bord de mer est située à Palmarin Nguèdj. Vous pourrez profiter d'une terrasse et d'un parking privé gratuit. Petit nid douiller rien que pour nous. Le logement se trouve les pied dans l'eau et à deux pas de la réserve de palmarin ou nous avons pu y observer des hyènes. Le gardien des lieux est très serviable. Je recommande ce logement

Situé à Ngalou Sessène, dans la région de Fatick, le Case beach dispose d'un jardin. Vous pourrez profiter d'une terrasse et d'un parking privé gratuit. A simple, but enjoyable house with a lot of charm. The house was clean and safe and the kitchen is well-equipped. Enough space for a group of for friends. The location at the beach is superb and you can wonderfully relax on the sunbeds and watch the sunset. The staff took good care of us. Recommended!
