I dont think i have ever encountered such a nice place for this price. The host was incredibily sweet and it was even possible to text them for questions. The interior is very artistic and pretty, the rooms were spaceous!

I love interacting with the staff, they are all very friendly and often go the extra mile to ensure your stay is well taken care of. They have answered my every query as best they can, even when they were occupied. The hostel provides towels, which is not often the case in other hostels. They also have female sanitary products, ear plugs, and toothpaste for free. Breakfast includes 3 mini croissants and chocolate spread, with hot chocolate drink. 101% will stay if I return, and will recommend fellow backpacker friends to stay here too.

600 metres from Tainan Confucius Temple, 璿 旅 Syuan Hotel is a recently renovated property set in Tainan and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. We were given the check in details prior to arrival and the instructions were clear. We arrived before the check in time and they helped with the storage of luggage. While we were out, they informed that they had given us a free upgrade for the room and it was an extremely pleasant surprise when we checked in as the room was extremely spacious, which made our 4-night stay in Tainan really comfortable. There's also snacks provided at the lobby and it's quite a good selection. They also provided water dispenser which is convenient and environmentally friendly. The location is also convenient to most of the attractions and food, but it can be quite a walk (10-15mins) to the places that open later at night. Lastly, we are also grateful to the staff for helping us receive our online order items and storing them till our arrival, which they kindly placed in our room when we checked in.
