More animals than I have ever seen and beautiful rooms. All of the activities were a blast especially the hike where we saw tons of birds and monkeys. The guides were super nice and everything -- food, transportation, excursions -- was really really well organized and convenient. The food was also great, and every meal was different. We WILL stay here again

I ❤️ Mr. Willis Rankin the 1st. He is so funny, nice and knows so much about Tortuguero. The bed was so comfortable and it was even a bit chilly at night with the fan on.

Offering a swimming pool, free breakfast and free Wi-Fi connection in public areas, La Baula Lodge is located 3 minutes’ by boat from Tortuguero National Park and from Tortuguero town centre.

The staff are very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, with the ceiling fan we were able to sleep in the evenings when the temperatures were rising. The pool area is also in a clean condition and can be used to relax. We were able to spot birds, a small snake and 3 iguanas right on the property's premises! Overall, highly recommended.

We enjoyed the nature tours with Marvin very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The canal tours is what I will remember the most. The room was simple and clean.

The pool, the restaurant right next to the water and the buffet. Cool place with very nice staff!
