Very clean, friendly, professional, and near the main railway stations. The room was freshly and stylishly decorated, with no loose wires like one often gets in Indian hotels. The bed was comfortable, the air-con and fan worked perfectly, great internet connection.Desk staff very helpful and friendly. Recommend this place for a stopover in Chennai if you need to catch a train elsewhere.

Well equipped rooms with drinking water, utensils for cooking/making coffee, refrigerator, washer-dryer unit, storage cabinets, safety locker, etc. Comfortable bed to my liking with the firm mattress. Room is well lit. Bath is adequately equipped (don't expect everything like razors, eartips, etc.). It took some time adjusting to the hard water to wash off the soap though :) Access to the beach and city centre is great. Takes about 15 mins to get to Express Avenue.
