Our stay was nothing short of amazing, truly exceeding all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality that made us feel right at home. The accommodation itself was immaculate, offering all the comforts and amenities we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. What truly took our experience to the next level, however, was the surprise addition of a Weber grill. This top-notch grill became the centerpiece of our evening gatherings, allowing us to cook up some incredibly delicious dinners. The quality of the grill ensured that every meal was cooked to perfection, adding a special touch to our stay that we hadn't anticipated. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness in providing such a high-quality grill for guests' use really stands out. It's not just about the accommodation itself, but also about creating memorable experiences, and in this case, they succeeded wonderfully. Overall, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for a comfortable and memorable stay with the added bonus of being able to enjoy fantastic grilled meals, this is the place for you. Everything we needed. Comfortable spacious house. We stayed for 2 night over New Year, good location for the Tongariro Crossing and also the Carrot play ground. near to shops, places to eat but also had good utensils, dishes, cooking facilities to make a meal at home. Mountain can be seen from the front garden and you can sit outside at the back and watch the birds in the trees by the stream.

Breakfast was great - hand built to order with a lot of fresh and homemade ingredients. Sauna really helped after a day on the mountain. Grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Loved the sheep and alpacas.

Beautiful view of Mt Ruapehu! Really lovely 2 bedroom chalet. Very clean with a good size kitchen.
