Offering a garden and garden view, Le Chalet du Renard is set in Le Tampon, 27 km from Saga du Rhum and 33 km from Trou de Fer Viewpoint.

Extremely conducive environment. Very peaceful and quiet. Excellent proximity to Piton de la Fournaise. The villa is huge and heating was good in the bedrooms. The fireplace added a special touch to the warmth of the house. Kitchen is well equipped with some condiments available for cooking. A washing machine is available but it will be perfect if a laundry rack is provided. The hosts could not speak English but communication was still manageable via an app translator.

Situated in Le Tampon and only 9 km from Volcano House, Chalet de Notre Dame features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

This place is absolutely amazing. It is new, clean, and cozy and the hosts were super nice as well. In the chalet, you will find everything that you need for your stay. The location is perfect if you plan to hike to the volcano during your stay, but at the same time, you can go to the beach as well (takes about 1h drive). Highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back again!

Our host was amazing. He gave us lots of information and recommendations about the area. He and his partner shared a traditional Reunion meal with us, we enjoyed learning more about their country. The chalet was cozy and comfortable. Overall one of the best stays we have ever had while traveling.
