With mountain views, Casa NATIVO is located in Jardin and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, snack bar, garden and terrace. Free WiFi is provided. We saved the best for last. Our stay at Casa Nativo was the highlight of our Colombia trip. Not only the stunning architecture and surroundings (we never saw so many different exotic birds as we did here) but mainly the lovely and caring personalities of Daniela, her mother Ana and Diana. It's a bit like spending time with family. In our entire trip, the beautiful terrace overlooking the jungle is where we found the most peace and felt closest to nature. We also visited the coffee finca of the parents of Diana up the hill. We would come back to Colombia only to stay at this magical place!

Set in Guarne, 29 km from El Poblado Park, Glamping Cabañas Sharmont features accommodation with a hot tub and an open-air bath. very attentive, respectful and friendly staff, very beautiful and rustic decoration in keeping with the locality, breakfast was great and the facilities are in good working order

The welcoming staff who went above and beyond to provide a wonderful stay, the pool and all the sitting areas around the pool, a roomy shower, and the food were all top notch. The location is not in a town so it is surrounded by nature and lovely views.

Furnishings are basic. Close to Santa Elena restaurants and a half hour walk to cerro verde, a beautiful hilltop hotel complex. Great bakery just 3 mins walk outside. Dog friendly. No music at night. Good for people who want to be left alone.

We had a wonderful stay at Finca Cabanas y Flores. The owners, Mario and Dione, are wonderful warm hosts. And Sergio is always there to take care of you! We loved the location of the Finca. It’s a short 15 minute walk into town, but seems like a world away from your cabin in the hills overlooking Jerico. After dinner in Jerico in the evening you can walk back (it’s very uphill!), or just catch a Tuk Tuk for 5,000 COP, about $1.25 USD. The views are stunning, especially from the breakfast patio, which is delicious and plentiful! The cabins themselves are lovely and comfortable. The bed was great, shower was hot, and it’s extremely quiet at all times as the location is far enough from the road. If you need wifi, the public areas have great coverage, but the 3G cell coverage is great so you can also use Wifi in your cabin using the iPhone hotspot. If you really need wifi in your cabin you get get great coverage for 10,000 COP per day, or $4 USD. You can’t go wrong staying at Cabanas y Flores!

L'Hospedaje Santaelena -chalets de montaña- offre sistemazioni in stile bungalow nel cuore di Santa Elena, Medellin. La struttura è immersa nella natura. Il parcheggio è gratuito. This entire place is lovely. The gentleman running the location was exceedingly accomodating, and the property is fantastic.

Offering a garden and city view, Ecoverso Cabañas del bosque is set in Medellín, 17 km from El Poblado Park and 17 km from Lleras Park. The cabin is very cute and well-equipped, the surrounding scenery is stunning, and the host couldn't be more helpful. This was the perfect way to start our Colombian adventure, perched on the edge of a mountain with views over Medellin to one side, and views of the countryside to the other. At the end of our stay we took the metro cable from Parque Arví down into the city...which provides another must-see perspective over Medellin. Overall...highly recommend to anyone looking for a little bit of nature, serenity and seclusion within reach of Medellin.
