I loved everything about Arenal Xilopalo. From the moment we got there, the staff was so welcoming and nice. There was even a mix-up with the taxi picking us up at the airport which was no fault of theirs and they were so apologetic. I loved staying here and can't wait to be back. It was the best sleep I've gotten in a long time. And the location, was perfect. It really is very close to everything you may need. Thanks Arenal Xilopalo for making our first time to Costa Rica so special. Pura vida!

We have stayed in many different places in La fortuna area and for one day we stayed in the tree house in Rio celeste area(limit 100$ per day). We did not want leave. This stay was by far better for a similar price. More comfy bed, clean soft towels, tasty food, nice idea of being elevated while watching birds in trees.

Everything, brand new facilities, calm, not far away from the main town, on the way to the water falls. The staff was super friendly and the owner took care of the details. Comfy and new mattress. This is a family-run business who cannot do more for their guests! All of the staff were so lovely, helpful, and informative about nature including giving us fruit picked from the trees! The breakfast every morning was delicious (defo go for the typical Costa Rican breakfast) cooked by the owners. We also ate from their restaurant which was YUMMY! Thanks to Chalets Silencio , we had a perfect stay with you! The nature here is breathtaking, the flowers, trees, fruits and so many animals!!! Note that the location of the lodge is outside of downtown La Fortuna but it was perfect for us as that's exactly what we wanted for two nights before moving to a downtown location :)

Has everything as advertised. We loved having breakfast while watching the colibris. During the evening we had a firefly show and the visit of the biggest toad.
