Rainbow Valley Lodge is located located in Monteverde Costa Rica, in the mountains of Monteverde. It offers lush gardens and rooms with free WiFi and fantastic mountain views. The view was amazing from both the bed and the little living room. Absolutely beautiful, very clean with all possible amenities. Each apartment has its own parking + there are facilities for disabled people. The hosts are very polite and quite helpful in case you need anything for the apartment or if you eould like to book a tour or an activity. They have a quite huge network which is really useful! I would go there again for sure! Definitely worth it!

Exceeded expectations! The stand alone suite/cabins are brand new, beautifully designed, very spacious. Grounds are nice, amazing views to the ocean, lots of birds, a lookout tower, pool, restaurant for an excellent optional breakfast. Really reasonable prices. For dinner the Cerro Lodge is very close. Birds right outside my door.

Situated 500 metres from Carmen Beach, Little Escape offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. A real gem in the jungle, just above the main road of Santa Teresa, but away of traffic & noise, highly recommended

Situated in Monteverde Costa Rica and only 3.7 km from Sky Adventures Monteverde, Casa de Montaña Tica Linda features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Perfect location for us, having a car. 10 minutes from Monteverde, next to a farm and a small preserve with a nature trail. The host is so nice and helpful, with a fascinating family history.

Located 12 km from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, Cabinas Costa Tropicana offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Very good and affordable accomodation. 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for the guests for free using! Airco! (you need it at this level). Very complete kitchen, big fridge. Nice own terrace where we ate all meals. Nicer than expected when we saw the pics. Nice garden, with yellow and red Tucans, parrots, howlermonkeys, group of 20 whiteface monkeys close passing by, giant beautiful grashoppers. No noise from outside except for the jungle. Very secure! Dutch friendly helpfull owner living in one of the houses also at the moment. Walkable distance to BM super, but downhill. Nice interaction with other guests. We where here 3 nights. Felt at home and cosy. Would deffinately stay here again!

Situated in Palmar Norte in the Puntarenas region, La Muñequita Lodge 1 - culture & nature experience has a balcony and river views. In the middle of nature, beautiful location. The host was friendly and greeted us like an old friend!

Located in Ojochal, 2.4 km from Tortuga and 29 km from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, El Pulpo Safari Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace. The staff were kind and flexible towards my needs as a guest. All of the shared facilities were clean and useful.

Boasting mountain views, Pacific Edge Eco Lodge offers accommodation with patio, around 2.4 km from Playa Dominicalito. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. I literally gasped once we got out of the car and saw the view of the jungle leading down to the ocean and watched the folks who came to stay after we arrived to the same. Waking up to howler monkeys and bird calls every morning was so special. Having a kitchen to cook in was great. The beds were comfy. The shower was hot. The hammock on each lanai was inviting and wonderful place to while away the hours but could also be moved aside to do yoga on a borrowed mat. The hospitality of the new owners is phenomenal! They were very welcoming, accessible but not intrusive, knowledgeable about the area and enthusiastic about helping guests plan outings. Sid's breakfasts are not to be missed and neither are his cocktails, if you are so inclined. I recommend the jungle juice while watching a spectacular sunset from the deck, but I heard a lot of raves about the margaritas as well. He joked that he was also the valet because he frequently rearranged cars for folks in the tight parking spots when they needed to get out or get in. Michaelynn was amazing, warm, helpful and funny. My husband was laid up with debilitating sciatica most of our stay and she made calls to get someone to come up and give him a massage as well as finding out what meds from the farmacia would help him.  I had big plans for adventures out, but honestly spent most of our four days there on the property and never felt I was missing out because it was so magical there. I felt like we all became family after a short time. We are alreay look forward to our next visit! PS. If you are looking for a luxury resort experience, keep looking because this is not that.

This is the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. Nothing fancy or luxurious but amazingly cozy, in a beautiful place. Cabin was cleverly designed with a roof that opens up to be a rain cover for a large balcony.
