The lodge is located in the beautiful mountains of Copey. The road leading to this lovely place of natural beauty is very good. We were greeted by Diego who was most helpful and kind.The delicious breakfast is a typical Costa Rican one, which you enjoy while watching all the humming birds at their feeders! Dinner was also very good and prices were reasonable. The uphill climb on their trail is worth it, especially if you can make it to their Cypress Forest!

Situated in San Gerardo, Rio Chirripo features a garden and year-round outdoor pool. Free WiFi in the main area is available. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony. absolutely everything! the small details, the food, the river access the pool, the staff (and the 2 friendly cats); better than many 5* hotels we’ve stayed in!

Trogon Lodge is located 1.5 km from San Gerardo de Dota town centre and 9 km from Los Quetzales National Park. It features an extensive garden, a terrace and BBQ facilities. Gorgeous sorroundings full of flowers and birds. The service is spectacular and the food is good. The rooms are comfortable and it’s just a beautiful and peaceful place to be. The quetzal tour was also very great value!

Obsługa bardzo miła, nie było problemu z np przygotowaniem smacznego pełnego śniadania dużo wcześniej niż w ofercie. Pełen relaks, trochę słychać samochodu od ulicy , ale nie przeszkadza to. Basen przyjemny i okolica pełna ptaków w tym tukanów - chociaż z oddali

Obiekt Curuba Lodge położony jest w miejscowości Copey i oferuje bezpłatne WiFi, ogród z tarasem oraz widok na góry. Fantastic hosts! Norem, Esteban and Valeria made us feel at home right away and went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast and dinner (with the hummingbirds around) were delicious, prepared to the point and with several dishes to choose from. The cabins are all new, very well designed and furnished, the bathroom with steady and immediate hot and cold water supply. A garden with a small trail are in the making and will make spending time in the crisp and clean mountain air even more worthwhile. We can highly recommend Curuba Lodge which became our favorite place in Costa Rica! Tip: Esteban can connect you with a few guides to see the rare and iconic Quetzal birds.

Obiekt Log Cabin in Tinamaste Valley, Habacuc Woods, BARÚ położony jest w miejscowości Platanillo i oferuje ogród, taras oraz sprzęt do grillowania. We could have spent a week here, we really did not want to leave. If you get the chance, you must stay here. The cabin was perfect, there is nothing you need that isn’t here. The views are spectacular, it wouldn’t be possible to do it justice. We were very fortunate to stay at some incredible places, but this might be our favourite. The drive up is challenging, we were laughing the whole way, but it was definitely worth it. We can’t recommend this place more. Great hosts, readily available and accommodating.
