The amazing staff personalized my whole stay with what I like to eat and which animals I want to see today. I felt very special because of their highest level customer service. The place is located in the middle of the jungle, so you can get all the animals coming to your door. I got civets, bats and broadbill birds. The food is amazing and the whole experience is great. The place just reopened so all the bedding and towels are freshly new, the same with boat and life jackets. My bed was hard, but I really liked it this way. There is internet in the restaurant/ chilling area.

The Last Frontier Boutique Resort bevindt zich in Bilit, bovenop een heuvel van 100 meter hoog met uitzicht op het bosreservaat Kinabatangan. Jason is a lovely guy and the perfect host. He went above and beyond to cater for his guests. I am a coeliac and Jason really pulled out all the stops to present beautiful meals for me. The location is great and you are right in the heart of the jungle...we had a visit from 2 orangatangs! The visit to kinabatangan river and the last resort boutique hotel was a highlight of my trip to Borneo....very special

Extremely helpful staff members - did our washing for us with a rapid turn around, moved our suitcases to our new room on the second night, helped us with transport to the national park etc. Clean rooms with efficient fan and comfortable beds. Free bottled water provided, with beautiful views of sunset from kitchen and terrace. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

D' Limbai Cottage bevindt zich in Ranau in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Bij de lodge kun je gebruikmaken van een terras. Na een tijdje in KK was dit wel echt een verademing. Een prachtig uitzicht op de berg! De man die beneden woont was ook fantastisch. Hij heeft ons super veel informatie gegeven over de buurt en ons ook vanalles getoond.

Je kunt bij de accommodatie ontspannen in de tuin. everything, best healing place with affordable price for family trip,will come back again. just a caution on the road, a bit steep, if you are using auto car, then use low gear, if using manual, make sure your brake and tyre in good condition for more grip, please be more careful especially during rain, since road may get slippery. recommended place to stay

Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge bevindt zich in Sandakan in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. The room was really comfortable with everything needed. Good breakfast and dinner, there was enough food and it was good. The price for the dinner (35 MYR per person is very reasonable in my opinion, especially considering the remote location). We really enjoyed the river cruises. One of them was the highlight of our trip to Borneo as we got to see the herd of pigmy elephants. The boat driver/guide was very excited as well, he changed the position of the boat numerous times while we were watching the elephants so that we could do lots of wonderful photos.
