The setting is a peaceful jungle cabana. Cheeky monkeys are all over the place. The food that mama prepared is the best. Have the gado gado! They can arrange jungle trekking tours to see Orangutans and transportation to and from Bukit Lawang. Every staff member we met was phenomenal from our driver Eddy, to our tour guide Sandy and our hosts. Highly recommend Orangutan Bungalow!

Lovely accommodations, grounds, staff, breakfast, etc. we felt very welcome and relaxed. we stayed in a more expensive place later after our jungle trek (because this place was full!) and it was not as nice. Breakfast was delicious. The room was very beautiful and clean, as was the bathroom, which even had a hot shower. We slept comfortably, even without AC, the fan was definitely sufficient. if this place has availability, you better book it! you won’t regret it. Highly recommend. 10/10

Beautiful location. The management organized exceptional private airport transportation as well as jungle trek. We were able to pay for all charges on credit card at the property.

I loved the location of the jungle lodge, it was perched on a jungle hillside... truly amazing😍 I had Ian & Jeffrey as my guides & they were very informative and helpful throughout the jungle trek. Yanta was another assistant & I couldn't be happier about it... so kind & friendly :). Awesome experience! I will be back one day!

I stayed in a recently renovated room with beautiful views of the river! The restaurant attached has such a cool ambiance - a great place to read or study. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and neat and an easy walk towards the forest or shops nearby!
