A serene and very peaceful location - didn't hear a single vehicle noise during my 3 night stay. Erantha and Ishanka, the very friendly and helpful owners, provide excellent meals, focussing on organic local produce, often from the garden in the 'resort'. Lovely walk to the nearby lake, and close to the Wilpattu National Park main entrance (requires a vehicle, which the owners can organise). We were also given a delicious picnic hamper for our full day park safaris. Cannot wait to return.

Wild Edge - Wilpattu se encuentra en Nochchiyagama, a 38 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 39 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín con terraza. The location is perfect, at the gate of the nature reserve. It was lovely sitting outside, watching the peacocks and relaxing after a long drive and safari. The owner has a wonderful house keeper, Dilshan,who takes care of your needs, such as meals and cleaning, but he was also a wonderful safari guide/driver. The rate for our safari was great, we contacted the owner to arrange this. He has a great eye for spotting wildlife and put in maximum effort to spot the highlights of Wilpattu. We saw 4 leopards 3 up close, and 1 at a distance. Take bug spray, as the Wilpattu area has a lot of insect activity at night. Thanks again Dilshan , the safari was great.

The rooms were spotless and the ac worked perfectly. The rooms were also very big with room to make yourself at home. What we loved most was the kind host family, they were so helpful and sweet to us. Also the breakfast was amazing. My boyfriend is a big guy and he ate very well and was never hungry. Absolutely would stay here again if we ever return and would recommend staying here to my friends and family

El Bissa Villa es un lodge privado con aire acondicionado y mosquitera situado a 1 minuto a pie de la estación de tren de Palugaswewa y a 4,3 km del lago de Habarana. La pareja que lo gestiona es fantástica, estuvieron atentos en todo momento, súper detallistas y volcados con que tuviéramos una estancia perfecta. Además, el sitio es precioso y cómodo.
