A great way to discount from a crowded place and just be in the middle of the nature

There is electricity, wi-fi, hot water, clean toilet and shower. Hospitable hosts and delicious homemade food. Please note that you can get there either by SUV on a not very good road or on foot. If you walk from the parking lot on the lake, then the walk is about 7 km with an ascent of about 700m. We walked with an 8 year old child for about 3 hours, but it's worth it.

I can't but recommend this place to everyone – Chalet Kolašin is amazing and the entire village is as picturesque as it gets. I can only imagine how it looks in the winter. (hint: probably magical!)

The nearest airport is Podgorica Airport, 90 km from the chalet. I liked the location, the hosts, environment, how it was equipped, we were in the middle of a mountain where it's chilly at night, but the bed covers were so warm, it's a small cozy, very cute place. I stayed for 1 night just to make a break in driving, but it was so nice that I want to come back with someone and spend a few days. I'm solo female traveler and I felt very safe here.
