We cooked our own food and everything we needed for that was available. We loved the privacy and the whole space was just so comfortable I could have stayed for a week!

The breakfast foods are provided at your arrival and refreshed as needed. The quality, range and amount are exceptional. Welcoming Afghan biscuits were very nice too. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy. The grounds are spectacular. The view from the cottage is magnificent. All up, one of the nicest places I have stayed.

The Flying Trout Boutique Lodge ligger i Taupo och har en egen tennisbana. Alla de rymliga sviterna har elegant inredning och vissa har utsikt över det omgivande bergsområdet. What a wonderful experience. We loved everything about this place, The food, the hosts and the fabulous view! Exceptionally comfortable place. Well done Roband Karen!

The owners, Garth & Angie went beyond the call to make our stay memorable & easy to highly recommend from the welcome, to the pre dinner drinks & canapes, the sharing of local knowledge & the beautifully presented, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was 10/10 using locally sourced high quality products. The coffee also got a gold star.
