Carpark is a plus - safe and just below the hotel. The room is big with extraordinary view. Very good location - just next to the train station and not far away from major attractions. You can choose to walk around or take the tram / bus for just a few stops. The staff is very helpful too.

The location is perfect for a visit to the old part of Salzburg. The room was a good size.
Andrea at the front desk in the evenings went way out her way to be friendly, and helpful. The best host by far.
The owners we really lovely.Very welcoming and very helpful. My friend needed the doctors and the owner took us directly to the surgery then picked us up to take us back to the apartment. The apartment very clean and new and extremely roomy.Everything we needed and more. The main hotel has such character and also extremely clean..Buffet breakfast plentiful and fresh. We would most definately go back as a wonderful experience had by the both of us.Thank you so much.
We had a fantastic stay at the hotel with a room for 5 people that fit perfectly. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the clock tower. The hotel's strategic location is great for those with a car, situated between Salsberg and the Cunningsburg Area. The on-site restaurant offers excellent dinner options. Additionally, the cable car to the mountain is conveniently just a minute away. The hotel staff was very pleasant throughout our stay.
A nice hotel with lovely vies at the back side (at the front - close to the road). An exceptionally good breakfast. Staff was very helpful - for some reason, I ordered wrong sized rooms and they tried to accomodate my family needs for the night we checked in. Next day, when they found out, there's no more room for my family, they let us go without charge, and although we were disappointed, I think it was fair and appriciated it.
We arrived late and the host was very helpful when we called the hotel. The room was fine, clean and silent. The breakfast was "standard" German/Austrian but the choices were many taking the number of rooms into account. The Gasthof has a nice atmosphere. There was good parking lot behind the hotel. Real value for money. I'll be back.
I loved the thoughtful, high quality way the hotel is decorated, full of lovely details. The staff were all very nice. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The wellness area was much appreciate after a day of hiking. The room and balcony were very spacious.
There was a ironing service we used that we were very happy with.
Location is very good, just a couple of minutes from the highway. Also a fuel station nearby and a supermarket. Very good breakfast and the hotel has a good restaurant. A (very small) swimmingpool on the other side of the road with the apartments from the hotel was a great bonus to cool off !
spacious room and the room was very clean. The breakfast was very good. The bus stop to go to Salzburg was just outside the hotel and we could buy the Salzburg card at the hotel. There is a nice restaurant at the hotel that serves local food (there is a special kid’s menu).
It was a friendly hotel. It was nice to stay. Breakfast is also delicious. I used the hotel restaurant on the first day of arrival and the food was excellent. In particular, the beer was delicious. Among the Stiegl beers, the unfiltered draft beer was very delicious.
Hotels rooms were modern, clean, and cozy with great balcony and exceptional mountain views. Breakfast was wonderful! My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary, and the staff made efforts to make it especially memorable. Definitely reccomend.
Lovely 'hotel' to stay super close to downtown Salzburg and many nearby locations in Germany. It is a heritage hotel originating in the 13th century. Nice period rooms, good breakfast, and close to many interesting locations.
Very nice staff in the hotel. Big rooms with terrace. Wellness area with sauna, infrared and steam bath. We were given two bikes for free for the whole day so we could ride to Salzburg. Really thanx for that.
Typical and cosy hotel, close to the POI we planned on visiting. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, lots of options, and eggs are freshly cooked and served.
