When we were planning our holiday, accommodation was quite difficult to find. Railton was a fortunate find in a convenient location. Our room had an ensuite and we were pleased to find it had a fridge as well. We ate at the hotel 3 times and I particularly liked the venison sausages and vegetables.

Exactly what we needed for a night after being on the Spirit of Tas all day. Was warm, spacious and comfortable. We arrived late which wasn't an issue and great communication from the owners.

All three of us - including our dog - were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and the grounds are picturesque. Starting the day with a delicious cooked breakfast and ending the day with a craft beer and a netflix movie was an added bonus.

I liked that this accommodation was pet friendly. The house was warm and cosy when we arrived. We had great communication from the owner who checked in with us via text at check-in and checkout. Some breakfast items and snacks were provided which we weren't expecting which was a lovely surprise. The games and puzzles provided were also an added nice touch.
