We loved the beach at Broadbeach and the pub next door to our hotel. The music was great as we relaxed in the spa. The sauna was great. Great restaurants enjoying margaritas. Love the Gold Coast. Plenty to do if you want to sightsee. We only really wanted to do a whale watching cruise this year. Have done the main attractions previously. Try some outer areas. Biggera waters not so busy and crowded. Harbour town great shopping. Must see for the girls is Robina shopping centre its Huge. Sharks club at Southport worth a visit, also for great meal is Dublin Docks pub opp harbour town. Lovely drive thru emerald lakes estate is like mediteranian village, gorgeous. Hotel was lovely close to train station -we used the train a lot to go to restaurants-the array of restaurants was great we chose Thai one night and indian next night A nice get away of note was exceptionable manners of the young men on train e.g. offering their seats on train -had not been to stay gold coast for sometime found it clean-beaches look fine seem to have recovered since cyclone we would definately stay again.Guest review byCarolynAustralia - 10.0

Gold Coast in Winter is always a great stay. Beautiful weather, sunny and around 22c, so perfect for sun, sand and swim in the pool. Surf is very cold, but fabulous for walking along the beach and also large selection of activities, restaurants and shopping.Guest review byRhondaAustralia

We were looking for a cheap motel to stay at for our two days at the theme parks but fluked out finding the hotel at a cheaper rate then other motels. Room was huge, clean beds super comfy and super quiet quiet. It also had a 5* view facing the marina and the kids thought we were millionaires coming into that huge shiny foyer.
