Oh man, rocked up as a weary traveler thinking this was a motel only to be greeted at a bnb by a wonderful couple and two amazingly hypoallergenic ragdoll kitties. (I'm allergic, but can't keep my hands of kitties, and not a sniffle!) I can't say enough- welcoming hosts, stunning location, beautiful room with large bathroom and everything you need. Great conversation (not at all overbearing hosts!), plenty of helpful travel advice, and just wonderful all around!

Loved it years ago, but the main street has been changed alarmingly with the monstrous black 'resort' which spoils the feel of it. The fire memorial is wonderful and parks and streetscape is lovely at the bottom end. The cafes are great, the supermarket was fine for self catering. Bruno's garden is fantastic - even better than it used to be. Surrounding area - drives and walks at the Meeting of the Waters are still wonderful.

Marysville is a town with beautiful scenery and walking tracks. While there we visited Bruno Art n Sculpture Garden which was truly amazing. Steavenson Falls is a breathtaking place to be. It gets crowded in the afternoon. We arrived there before 9am and was able to enjoy it. There are nice cafes and pubs in the area.

Wonderful short stay, the Steavensons Falls (at night) a must and Bruno’s Sculpture display a definite must do allowing twice the time you think you you will need is an absolute must - this place is world class! The ELKana Lodge was delightful and luxurious to stay! Picturesque townscape and friendly shops, great food and huge shout out to the community resilience for bouncing back after 2099 disaster - the entire town should be proud!

Quaint village. Best to see in spring or autumn.

Quaint village. Best to see in spring or autumn. Expensive for groceries but good bakery. Steavenson Falls spectacular - floodlit until 11pm at night. A bit of the drive along a scenic but hazardous road to get to Yarra Valley wineries and tourist sites

Marysville is a charming little town, small but cosy.

Marysville is a charming little town, small but cosy. Very good places to have breakfast. There are shops for renting snow equipment and chains (if the weather warrants it) Lake Mountain is only a 20 minute drive away. The only thing is that the mobile phone reception is bad and there is no internet or wifi. Pro Tip: The information centre has a wifi network which you can borrow to set up your maps or check routes on your phone.

The cottage is spacious, light, attractively furnished and well equipped. Each cottage is surrounded by a pretty garden giving privacy and a view from every window. It is a tranquil setting, perfect for a restful holiday. We used the wood fire one evening, which was cosy. Simple meals were easy to prepare in the kitchen,. Marysville is a gem of a town, and it is an easy walk from the cottage to nearby tracks, shops etc. We visited the annual art show too, which showcases the talents of this small but vibrant community.

The friendly and warm staff. The clean rooms that had everything that we needed for a lovelystay, all in the heart of Marysville. The bed was comfortable and our toddler felt really comfortable in the family suite all being in the one area. We will definitely be back as it was such a lovely place to stay. The owners gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and try whilst we stayed.

We loved the house, especially how it was a constant heat. So comfortable and equipped. The people were like family to us, always available when needed and so generous and caring. The food was great and an excellent atmosphere. We can't say highly enough about the whole experience, it will be a holiday talked about forever just because they made it comfortable and EASY. LOVE YOU GUYS.

Very spacious and comfy room. The guest house is centrally located and very cosy on a winter day. It is surrounded by really beautiful trees which provide exquisite colors during autumn. I would highly recommend this place as compared to a hotel.
