A friendly town with all the essentials. Easy place to drive in. Close to Mackay. The local airport is small by efficient. Mackay airport is only 2 hours away. Paid $367 for an average room. Could have paid for a lavish room in Melbourne or Sydney. Was also asked to wash to the dishes before I left.
