I enjoyed the location and the peaceful property, the cows roaming around were a little worrisome at points but they didn't seem to be aggravated by people walking around. The fireplace was lovely and the view from the room.

Tinglewood Cabins, hotel in Nornalup

Located in Walpole in the Western Australia region, Tinglewood Cabins has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking.

I really love the remote and very quiet location on a clearing in the midst of the forest where one could watch the wildlife (Kangaroos, quokkas...if you're lucky)! The friendly owners Chris and Sharon were very helpful in every way and gave me some very interesting insights into the local flora and fauna. - They even gave me, the in this matter somewhat ignorant big-city guy, perfect and very helpful instruction on how to properly light up the wood-fired chimney. - At night I recommend you enjoy one of a hell of great night-sky, unspoiled from any light-pollution!! - If I ever again be in the area I will definitely be back!!

A delightful hamlet on the banks of the beautiful Frankland River. The small community appear to be keeping it as natural as possible, never change that! The restaurant is a treat with a diverse menu, and caters for children.

Nornalup is a small village style community that we have often driven past in order to explore other more popular locations. For this trip we had more time to stop and explore so we decided to book a chalet at Nornalup Riverside Chalets, along the Franklin River. What a great decision. Nornalup is a beautful and relaxing location with friendly people and loads to see, including a rich local history. We spent time kayaking along the river, swimming and exploring local sites. The area is bursting with flora and forna over a diverse landscape. Paddling along the pristine Franklin, walking or fishing along local beaches, 4x4 driving to different coastal locations, coffee, wine and local eateries all make for a complete get away experience. Nornalup is an unsung hero in our South West. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

The town itself was so beautiful.

The town itself was so beautiful. We drove down and spent the day and night in Nornalup and then drove to Denmark and Albany and it was great. I think I could have done 2 days in Nornalup because we really crammed to get everything done but wanted to see as much as possible while down there
