Trish went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable - electric blankets on the beds, heating, well stocked kitchen, plenty of information about what to do/ where to go. There was plenty of room inside and out. Trixie, the dog, is extremely friendly and adorable. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The Sleeping Lady Private Retreat, hotel in Porongurup

The Sleeping Lady Private Retreat is located in Porongurup, just 28 miles from National Anzac Centre and 27 miles from Albany Entertainment Centre.

We loved the sweeping views, the privacy, the location and the facilities. Everything needed was provided, even logs for the cheery wood fire. The BBQ on the deck was very convenient and, in warmer weather, it would be pleasant to eat outside.

If you like hiking, this place is for you.

If you like hiking, this place is for you. The view from Castle Rock is amazing and I look forward to going again and doing some more walks. There are lots of lovely wineries. Lunch at Zarephath is a must (as is their wine) and the wine from Castle Rock is one of my favourites. The Karribank also had good food and was a good place to take the kids as they have a sandpit with a fort.

Amazing location with lots to do.

Amazing location with lots to do. My family did the sky walk- I have a 1 year old and decided to stay back and do the nature walk as I wasn’t ready to climb up rocks with him. My 4 year old and husband and family loved it. Many more things to do but we didn’t get around to it unfortunately as we had too much to do on the drive up to Perth. Would definately come back for longer
