Fantastic place in a beautiful green lush garden! We enjoyed our stay a lot. It was very relaxing to just sit outside and enjoy the relaxing nature, listening to the birds, watching the cats play and, of course, swimming in the warm pool! Fantastic! Thanks a lot for the welcoming atmosphere and your hidden gem.

Nice little town with a cozy city center, good food places, some nice shops and a rather relaxed athmosphere. And also a nice parc in walkinf distance. A stay here is highly recommanded if you wanna escape the big cities around, but still feel like being somewhere interesting.

A small town with some pretty architecture.
A small town with some pretty architecture. There are plenty of shops and eating places. It's easy enough to navigate around the centre and it feels safe at night. It's easy to get there from Brussels on the train.

It's such a good base for touring Flanders.
It's such a good base for touring Flanders. You have Brussels, Ghent, Brugge, Antwerp and lots of other interesting towns within less than an hour by train. You can even get down south towards Kortrijk, Mons and Ieper and back in the day, or to the coast, although you have to watch the times of the late evening trains. You usually have to change in Ghent or Brussels.
It is a lovely little town in its own right with a compact centre about 10-15 minutes from the hotel and full of churches, cafes and bars including several on the station square. The best one is in a side street to the right of the station opposite the cycle park. There's a market on Saturdays and a LIDL for everyday shopping.
The hotel is centrally located. The room is of sufficient size, modern and newly refurbished. Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Possibility to park the car behind the hotel in a public parking lot where there is no charge from 07.00 PM to 09.00 AM, thereafter € 1.- / hour with a maximum of € 4.- / day. Many restaurants nearby or within 10 minutes walking distance in the central square of Aalst. The breakfast buffet is well garnished with hot and cold breakfast items.
This hotel has pleasantly surprised me. It was not too big, but quiet and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had excellent choices no matter you would like, all fresh and well organized. It was located in the centre of the city, walking distance to Grote Markt, stations, restaurants, bars and shops. Saturday there was a market close by. I would stay there again without hesitation. Highly recommend!
The host, Martine was the kindest and extremely attentive to the guests’ every needs, providing all the information necessary about the city and it’s culture and as well an amazing breakfast every morning if needed! Aalst is almost no doubt one of the if not the best location to stay for visiting Belgium, a city of great culture and beautiful streets! Without a doubt the BEST place to stay whenever coming to Belgium!

The attention to the customer was fantastic throughout - communication was responsive, the place was clean, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic. I've stayed here once before years ago and highly rated it then, and it will remain my first choice for staying in that area. No, it's not a big hotel, but the personality of the place and the host make it a joy.
Excellent B&B - modern and sleek design with super comfortable beds, spacious, modern and comfortable bathroom with free organic shampoo etc. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment.
Location is in the center of the old part of Aalst, but the apartment itself is very quiet and peaceful.
The owners are personable and care that your stay is the best possible.
Excellent accommodation in the heart of Aalst, close to the city centre and the station. Self-contained, quiet room which is very comfortable, with en suite facilities. Made to feel very welcome by the super hosts. Fabulous continental breakfast. I had a fabulous stay and feel very well rested despite a busy agenda.
We've stayed before on our way to the Dunkirk ferry. It's easy to find, plenty of parking (€9 for the secure underground car park), the rooms are the usual Ibis standard and are quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and there's a selection of food available in the bar area.
Good location between Brussels and Ghent for traveling around Belgium
Nicely renovated house in a quiet environment and with a nice garden
Really nice hosts prepared amazing breakfast
if we are back in Belgium we will choose this B&B again
The breakfast was great, amazing eggs and apparently from their own chickens. The location is absolutely fantastic right in the most central street of Aalst couldn't really get better when it came to location!
The landlady is very charming. Very good and personalized service - just tell her what you need. On Saturdays they make waffles in front of the hotel - if you are there don’t miss it.
The beds were good
Considering you pay 5 euro for breakfast, not too bad.
( bread was dry though)
