A tradition of hospitality Enjoy the full hotel experience… A total experience. That is what we create in Hotel Cosmopolite. A nice room is the basis, but we go much further.

We like the area since we are birdwatchers, the walk is not too far. Also breakfast, dinner facilities all in the hotel.

There was one room with fridge, couch, microwave and cutlery to eat which is very practical for a weekend stayin, as well as a tv; and a second room with a double bed and small TV. The bathroom was nice with big shower.
The staff was fantastic and very helpful.
Breakfast was served downstairs and had everything (eggs, cereal, croissants, bread, ham & cheese...)

The old town is small but very attractive and there are a few interesting things to see there, many connected to the First World War. The beach is very nice. There is a nature reserve that you can get to by the free ferry which is worth going to, and there are lots of walks that you could do. Beyond that there isn't a lot to keep you in Nieuwpoort, so it is a great benefit that you can take the coastal tram from Nieuwpoort so you can explore other places.

It was a short stay but I enjoyed it like always.
It was a short stay but I enjoyed it like always.
One of my favourite places at the Belgian coast because of the dike (no cars and a lot of space), the mouth of river Ijzer, the history of the world wars (mainly world war I) and the multiple walking possibilities.
I've been there many times and planning to go back for many times.

If you don’t go to Nieuwpoort Bad but to the Nieuwpoort town area or to Koksijde, you may be better off. Nieuwpoort Bad is a wannabe-look rich shopping strip with plenty of places to leave your money. There are better beaches along the ‚Kust‘, with more normal crowd.

Great walks along the beach and seafront to marina.
Great walks along the beach and seafront to marina. Nieuwpoort has lots of great shops if that’s what you like doing. Don’t forget to visit the old town with the Nieuwpoort Stad Market square and appreciate the Flemish architecture.

Lovely beach with nice restaurants and bars.
Lovely beach with nice restaurants and bars. Quite upmarket shops were a surprise. Like most of this coast buildings on the front built in about 1960’s so not very attractive, but lovely place to relax for a few days.
The apartment was clean, and I mean squeaky clean. The facilities in the kitchen are also more than sufficient (more than enough dishes and cookware, microwave oven, coffee maker, a dishwasher and of course a stove and a refrigerator/freezer). The apartment itself is also well equipped (good WiFi, definitely better than most hotels and TV with cable). The check-in and check-out were also straight-forward using the lockbox. The hosts were very friendly, even though we didn't really need to meet them in person.
The location is excellent, and despite the proximity of the road and streetcar for the ground-floor rooms, the rooms are very well insulated against noise. The comfort of the bedding is outstanding.
Breakfast is really good and varied. However, I would have expected a better quality of bread and jams for a hotel of this level.
The only minor downside: the room was triple-occupancy, and every day we had to ask for towels for the 3rd person, which were routinely overlooked.
The apartment was a beauty. The design furniture and all the attention for details was just unmatched. Things we loved: welcome package with a small snack, lovely (local) drinks in the fridge, beautiful furniture, design is just unreal, roof terrace is perfect (all day sun) and I can go on and on..
It's just a lovely place to relax, enjoy what Nieuwpoort has to offer and have a lovely stroll around the city and the coast
We had a wonderful stay here for our family reunion. Very comfortable rooms, all ensuite, and a well-equipped kitchen with lovely small garden just next to it, ideal for a lunch or dinner outside. The house is in a quiet but central location in the city of Nieuwpoort, just a 5 min walk to the supermarket and tram. It was ideal for 6 people, and well-equipped for kids. Would definitely stay here again!
The location of the ideal - right on the beach and just a couple of minutes from the coastal tram. The room was very well set out and comfortable. I booked a back facing room but they upgraded me to a side room which was nice - from my balcony I had an very nice view of the sea. The breakfast was very good. I would very happily recommend this hotel.
It was the second year we staid there when visiting family in Nieuwpoort. The location is fantastic. Staff extremely friendly. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely stay there next year again.
Nice place, good location. Close to the centre of Nieuwpoort and 10 minutes by car or tram to the beach. Fully equipped kitchen, good beds and two bathrooms with rain shower. A toilet present on 3 floors.
Well organised. Got a phone call a few days before travelling. Received codes for self-checkin. Possibility to get breakfast at the Ibis hotel. Were allowed to use the swimming pool of the Ibis hotel.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, very close to the beach. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms. A very extensive breakfast.
