Very pet friendly, great amenities, and walkable distance to Chesterman Beach.
Tofino Resort + Marina is the ideal place to experience Tofino, Canada’s famous west coast surfing destination. Tofino is so much more than surfing though.

We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay.
We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay. Beautiful part of the country. Great food. Lots of outdoor activities. Took a boat trip with Remote Passages to see the bears and it was a fantastic 3 hours. Stayed at Chesterman beach which is a great location - Seafarer B&B (friendly, comfortable and quiet). Had huge breakfasts provided at the B&B and didn’t need to eat again until dinner! Had great meals at The Shelter and Roar (which is in the Zed Hotel) Restaurants. Drove 40 minutes to Ucluelet one day to walk tracks around Wild Pacific Rim. Fantastic photos - eagles, seal, landscape, rock pools. Lovely cafes.

Tofino is worth the drive.
Tofino is worth the drive. Loved the casual vibe of this remote surf town. In winter it was delightful. We went up to Ucluelet and did a walk. We surfed in very thick wetsuits, and we had a sauna on the beach. The whale watching in winter didn't seem to be so easy to find.

What an absolutely interesting place!
What an absolutely interesting place! And we experienced both a trees breaking, power outing ferocious storm, and some pleasant and moderately sunny weather. Our stay at the Tin Wis Resort was beyond our expectations. We look forward to coming back, maybe in the summer next time.

Visiting in the "off season" was very nice.
Visiting in the "off season" was very nice. Everyone seemed relaxed and there were no crowds. Lots of free parking available. Most stores/restaurants were open. Some of the tour groups were still operating as well.
Co-op was a great place for reasonably priced groceries, including a deli/bakery.
Trails were well groomed and easy to locate. Try to work in the Bog Boardwalk trail as it's a very unusual area.
People were still surfing/kayaking, etc.

The 1.5 hr seaplane flight with Atleo was excellent - stop at a remote lake for a swim, see the coast, the interior, - just excellent.
Food was disappointing - by the sea yet very few served seafood that focused on the seafood - the focus seemed to be on having as many flavours as possible
The location was perfect, walking distance to most places in Tofino. We arrived during the heat wave and they had fans turned on to keep the room cooler before our arrival. The room is very spacious, with a kitchen that was very useful during our stay and there is a large balcony with a great view of the sunset during summer. They provide free parking. The staff provided a lot of information about the accommodation and Tofino before our arrival. They also informed about the road closures that we needed to be aware.
I expected a regular hostel, but was met with something looking more like a hotel! The owners and staff were all super friendly, giving loads of tips on what to do in Tofino. The rooms were clean and tidy, just like the common area and kitchen. We were able to park our bikes in the backyard and also leave our wetsuits to dry in the drying room overnight, which was very kind! The location is also perfect: in the middle of "downtown" Tofino, with restaurants, shopping and grocery store nearby.
The lightstream camper was ok to stay in but the single rooms across the way were new and comfy!! The beach was clean and beautiful the coffee, Rhino, made in Tofino was FABULOUS!! The staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best to accommodate us and in fact went out of their way to get us into our next room as fast as they could. I would most definatly stay here again.
Visiting Pacific Sands is a fantastic experience. The grounds are immaculate (as always). I enjoy the view immensely. Staying at Pacific Sands is different than other hotels partly due to the natural beauty and also the excellent facilities. In fact when I am there, I often do not even want to go out to see the rest of the area.
The property is awesome. It is right downtown Tofino and right on the waterfront. Simply perfect and great for small groups! Decor is great and the view was fabulous. Loved having a fireplace in the autumn weather. Bathroom was perfect. Although beds are a bit soft for my liking.
This hotel is amazing! Comfortable beds and pillows, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, great view and location. Coffee machine in the lobby is good. I have stayed at a few hotels in Tofino; this is the one I have stayed at twice and will always book here.
Staff were friendly and helpful. They seemed genuinely concerned that everything was provided and to my liking. They were also very nice! I saw two eagles from my room even though I was not on the water view side.
Also one of the best places for sushi!
The view you get on each room of this hotel is breathtaking. The rooms are big, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good. In my opinion the hotel is a bit pricy for what Tofino offers. next time I would stay in Ucluelet.
It is a nice accomodation to visit Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park. The design of the lobby is original and successful. The team is very kind and helpful. For the breakfast you can take only coffee, this is advantageous.
The hotel was right by the harbour and the view from the balcony was amazing, overlooking the water. The room was a lot bigger than I expected. It was clean, reclining chairs, a table with chairs and a small kitchen area.
The hotel is situated at the end of a street off the main road, which is perfect if you want to experience the nature and stillness of Tofino. The downtown is a short walk away if you need to grab coffee/food/supplies
This hotel has one of the best locations in Tofino with a view of the Harbour. Rooms were large and had the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! I'm recommending this place to everyone!
It was the best location in tofino right on the north corner of cox Bay surfing was excellent. The dining was superb. The rooms were super. All round excellent resorr.
