This property and the staff were exceptional all around. Everything you may need was provided and the staff was always happy to accommodate requests- they even packed us our favorite hot sauce to bring home! Tour guides were exceptional.

Perfect location, everything you needed was there. The way the casitas are set up were very comfortable and accommodating. If you have a small party, it’s great. Visiting Lagunavista Villas is definitely a rainforest/ocean get away. The rooms are wonderful and very private. You are close to nature with incredible views. The meals are very good and served family-style with other guests or separately, if that is your preference. The staff is excellent and your hosts, Greg and Keiko, are warm and inviting. It's a bit like being invited into their home with lots of great conversation, music, and stories. They were very attentive and helpful in setting up activities for us when needed. It is a remote resort - perfect to disconnect (for the most part; they do have wireless) and get to know the creatures of the rainforest. Daily appearances by monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, and coatis add to the entertainment. We had a great time.
