The location suited us perfectly Close to the beach and just far enough from the hectic park entrance. The staff was amazing. Stayed an extra night to beat enjoy our last day in Costa Rica with an early morning ocean swim and lovely lunch before we headed to the airport

I absolutely love this place!
Excellent location, staff, facilities and atmosphere. There are a large number of rooms spread out across the jungle property. I saw a white faced (capuchin) monkey and could hear the howler monkeys close by! There are three (or more?) pools on the property.
Selina is a chain of hotels (at least there is another one in Panama City) and they run their places so well. There is a welcome drink they provide at a set time so you meet others and they also have group activities, such as a free salsa dance class. Next to reception is the bar, and the place turns into a nightclub where many locals go to. My room was still quiet during those hours, so it was beat of both worlds.
