From where to start... Location is great, yet accessibility by car seems to be the easiest option. On the outskirts of Vizovice (village famous for their plumb spirit "Slivovice") Small stream passing by, parking on their property, wine cellar with African and local wines to buy, outside "breakfast" spot to hang out or grab a bite (self catering). As per the holiday home itself, beautiful, decorated in an African style, cozy rooms, very comfortable. Owner is a professional photographer that spends part of the year in Africa, brought a piece of it back to Vizovice, small souvenir shop + a museum (must see) ,cool guy to talk to, we had a hour long talk about his trips to Africa, how lions can block you while "walking the dog" :) That itself is worth visiting the place. Don't know what else to highlight, we were pleasantly surprised. Great price/value :)

The location is quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very nice. We stayed in one of the cabins. It looks brand new and was very clean, even with a little deck to enjoy outside. Food was okay too. The kitchen in the cabin was well stocked with anything you need to cook.
The outside of the hotel looks a bit dated but don't let that fool you. The inside looks quite nice.
It is a charming historic town with a beautiful castle.
It is a charming historic town with a beautiful castle. The Baroque chapel in the castle is stunning. There is also a wonderful chocolate shop/café in the castle grounds (the hot chocolate is incredible!). The town is surrounded by countryside with lots of walking trails and 25 minutes away by train is the famous Bat`a Institute and Shoe Museum in Zlin. The town is easy to get to by train from Ostrava or Brno.
The hotel looks amazing with all this african decoration that you could see on the pictures. This is a very small private hotel for 6 rooms in total. The bed is very comfortable, the room has enough space to feel comfortable. Breakfast was cooked for the requested time so it was hot and tasty. I arrived earlier, but checkin was flawless without any issues. You can park your car directly at the hotel.
