Radebeul is a lovely town on the Elbe and with easy access to the historic towns of Dresden and Meissen. It is within walking distance of fantastic vineyards and is great to for cyclists with cycle paths along the river. The old centre of Altkotchenbroda has several fantastic eateries and some , such as the Schwartze Seele have a fine whiskey selection !HenrietteUnited Kingdom

The day before I was to return, a bad snowstorm was rolling in, so we phoned the Alte Apotheke and asked if we could move our reservation up by one day to circumvent the bad weather. They said, "sure!" because they had space at their sister hotel, just meters away, and it was a wonderful place. Phenomenal customer service - thank you!JacobGermany
